Heading in the Right Direction!

posted Jun 6, 2011, 2:45 AM by Sue Babbit
Finally, the lake is now below 102' - still two feet above flood stage, but if we can keep it going in this direction, at this pace, we will be able to get docks in perhaps next week.  We have some temporary docks in for anyone who wants to launch small fishing/pontoon boats, and our fields have been abuzz with activity the past two week-ends.  Everyone's boat will certainly be ready for the water this year - new paint jobs, tuned up engines, safety netting.....lots of time for puttering for sure!  First potluck was a success - lots of good food and catching up from the winter.  The Rutland BassMaster's Tournament will be taking place next Saturday, 6/11  -  stop by in the afternoon to watch the weigh-ins and see the awesome fish these guys (and gals)  bring in.  We will certainly be letting you know as soon as the docks hit the water....thanks to everyone for your patience and understanding.
