Hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing holiday season, and are now looking forward to spring and the boating season! At the rate this winter is going, we might just have docks in by April 1st! Not much activity here these days - ice fishing has not been so great, as you can imagine. Ed and Uwe are working on a project for the Ship's Store Kitchen - we will be stylin' for sure this year! Cabin Fever Party time will be here before we know it - watch this blog for details in the next week or so.

Well, I managed to mess up the schedule real good this year! Web site says one thing - printed schedule says another.....I guess it is just going with the flow of the rest of this boating season! Anyway.....
The Last Potluck of the 2011 Season will be on Saturday, October 1st.....we will vote on Picture of the Year....so bring, or e-mail me your entries ...Since I have everyone sooooo confused, including myself, we will leave the voting open until 10/8, and post the winning pic on the website after
I promise to do better next year :) !!

Irene was kind to us here at Plunder Bay - lots of rain, some wind, but looks like we got through it unscathed - perhaps a few ruts in the road leading down to the lake, but docks and boats are in good shape! Hope everyone else is safe and sound! The sailboat race was post-poned from this past Saturday to Saturday, 9/10th @ 1:00pm - let's hope we have a nice breeze! This coming Sunday is the Annual Beef Roast/Turkey Fry - hope you all can join us for this event - please bring a salad/side dish or dessert to share - time is 1pm. Can you believe it is Labor Day week-end already....where did the summer go??? Hoping for a warm and extended late summer/fall season so you can all enjoy what's left of the boating season.

Docks are in and we are ready for boats - floated a couple yesterday, if you're ready, so are we. There is no electric service on the docks yet, but will be soon if all goes well. Thank you all for your patience and understanding - we certainly appreciate it!
